Q: Can I use this together with an acne treatment at the same time?

A: Most acne treatment causes dry skin because by drying out the skin, the treatment ultimately prevent/control acne. Thus, it is crucial to hydrate your skin while on an acne treatment. Cleanse with a acne cleanser as normal and then allow a acne cream to dry completely before applying Restorative Day Cream. The SPF will also prevent the acne scar from darken further more.

Q: What does SPF mean and how do I properly use it?

A: SPF is important because the sun can result in skin cancer, ages your skin that causes lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, uneven skin tone, and rough texture. SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, which is a measure of the amount of time you can spend in the sun before getting a sunburn. For example, if you would normally burn after 10 minutes, a sunscreen with SPF 15 should allow you to stay out for 150 minutes before burning. It takes 30mls (about the size of a shot glass) of sunscreen to fully protect the average body from head to toe. One teaspoon of that should be on your face. We do recommend reapplying once every 2 hours to maintain a constant level of protection, regardless of the SPF.
